I was given the task of creating a visual representation in response to the banned book pandemic currently taking place in America. I decided to create a single room exhibit using each wall to visually represent the estimated amount of words in every banned book, estimated amount of time it would take to read every banned book, and the height of every banned book stacked on top of each other. The giant hour glass is a nod to the amount of time it would take to read every book in a unique way, adding to the experience for any attendants .
